A little guidance
before takeoff.
Everything you need to know about learning, exploring,
and finding your way with Plane-Pals.
Getting started
What is Plane-Pals?
Plane-Pals brings aviation learning to life through games and activities for kids, plus ground-school lessons and knowledge-test practice for student pilots.
What’s the difference between Junior Aviators and Ground School?
Junior Aviators introduces kids to aviation through play and discovery. Ground School covers more detailed topics for people learning to fly and preparing for pilot knowledge tests.
What ages is Junior Aviators designed for?
Junior Aviators is designed mainly for ages 5–12. Younger explorers may enjoy learning with a parent or teacher.
Pilot learning
Which pilot certificates and ratings do the study guides cover?
Our study guides include topics for Private Pilot, Instrument Rating, and Commercial Pilot knowledge tests.
Does Plane-Pals replace flight training or provide a test endorsement?
No. Plane-Pals is a supplemental learning platform. It does not replace instruction from a certificated flight instructor or provide an endorsement to take an FAA knowledge test.
